The Vietnam Veterans Centre at Osborne House remains closed for an unspecified period of time while repair works by the City of Greater Geelong take place.

The Vietnam Veterans Centre is operating from a temporary office at 31 Mt Pleasant Road, Belmont, and it serves as a meeting and drop-in centre on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10.00am and 3.00pm, excluding public holidays.  Our office contact number is 03 52433700.

The Vietnam Veterans Centre will close for the holiday period at 3.00pm on Monday, December 10th, 2018, and will reopen at 10.00am on Monday, January 28th, 2019.

   Please Note:  The Geelong Vietnam Veterans Museum at Osborne House Swinburne Street, North Geelong, is currently closed whilst building repairs are being carried out by The City of Greater Geelong.

A selection of Rememberance panels and inlaid plaques along the walkway, part of the Vietnam Veterans Avenue of Honour and Memorial Park Precinct, Melbourne Road, North Geelong.  If you are in Geelong, make a point of visiting the Avenue of Honour, take a walk along the avenue and see for yourself the plaques and panels commemorating those who served in Vietnam – 1965-1972.

News From The Victorian Government:  The free public transport travel arrangement which has applied to ANZAC Day, has now been extended to include Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day.  This includes Veterans, war widows, school students, ADF cadets, Scouts and Girl Guides, and serving ADF personnel.  Veterans will also receive free travel on public transport during Veterans Health Week. This applies Victoria wide.  To receive the free travel you must be wearing your medals, be in uniform or produce a membership or valid I.D. card.
